|  | | | | Schwalbe Rocket Ron 26"Schwalbe has optimized the inner strength of its MTB tyres: In 2011 all top models will have new, Triple Star compounds. It is a modular system whereby three of six new individual compounds are cleverly combined. All 2011 EVO versions are now 'Tubeless Ready'. Simply by adding a liquid puncture sealant they can be made into Tubeless tyres.
Rocket Ron has a more prominent profile than Racing Ralph, but nonetheless rolls just as easily. Above all: Rocket Ron is an out and out competition tyre, so puncture resistance and durability are limited.
PLEASE NOTE the ORC versions are not tubeless ready tyres.
- Each Triple Star compound consists of three unique compounds.
- All three Triple Compounds have the same, extremely elastic base compound under the tread that makes the tyres fast. All other desired properties are achieved by placing a special compound in the tread centre and on the tyre shoulders - a different one for each intended purpose. More info here ->

TUBELESS READY
Can be mounted (with sealant) on UST or non-UST rims with appropriate rim strip and valve.
Tubeless Ready tyres can be mounted as 'normal' with a tube or without a tube. If they are fitted without a tube, they MUST have sealant inside.
TL Tyres that are fitted without a tube are porous by nature and will not hold air without sealant, and indeed may take a day or two for the sealant to fully seal the carcass, more info here ->
