| | | | | Maxxis Aspen 26"Maxxis Aspen is the very latest race tyre. It is designed to have very low rolling resistance with a weight that is less than the Ardent. The latest set was made out of 62a compound and weighed in around 630g each for the 2.25's. It is also available in a 2.1 version.
The Aspen is designed with a high volume casing to smooth out the roughest rocks and roots whilst the soft compound gives optimal traction in the corners. - Great wear for a race marketed tyre
- Good climbing grip
- Higher than quoted volume
- Extremely low rolling resistance
- Solid cornering ability
- Light enough to race but forgiving enough for everyday use
- All-round racing tyre that rolls easily but offers grip in almost all situations.
- Great Traction
- Dual compound - All Maxxis Aspens have a hard, long lasting centre for faster rolling. And a softer shoulder compound for better grip.

Reviews ... rating ( 5 out of 5 )*****Race Tyre by Budgie 15 Feb 2010 "I used the Aspen for a dryish off road duathlon, fantastic rolling tyre that actually sheds mud quite well. Tyres didn't ball up like last year = much better bike time."
*****Quick tyre by pitloch 01 Mar 2010 "I have to agree, rolls really well and grips surprisingly good."
